BBi Autosport & Motegi Racing Long Beach Grand Prix Launch Event

Last weeks event was very well received by all of those in attendance. Many media members and VIP guests as well as drivers attended the event and brought some new fresh faces in the automotive industry to come see the shop and mingle with other industry members. Motegi and BBi shop owners gave a formal introduction to the new racing wheel and their involvement in many national racing series and events. There were about 150 guests that attended the event including AutoWeek, RACER and SportsCar Magazine, ESPN, Source Interlink journalists, ALMS Porsche factory driver Patrick Long, American race car driver and TV host Tommy Kendall, Indy Car driver Graham Rahal, Indy driver Bryan Herta and Formula Drift driver Jhonnattan Castro.

The event was set to end at 10PM but lasted until the tear down began at 11:30PM. Guests conversed about the upcoming Long Beach event, new drivers and were excited to hear about RECARO’s presence at this years GP along with a continued sponsorship for the rest of the Pirelli World Challenge races. It sounds like many of the guests from this event will be on the look out and stopping by at one of the RECARO activation centers.

01 The outside entrance featured RECARO cars and custom gobos to project brand images and cool designs throughout the night.

02 The back of the shop featured a stage, Paul Miller Racing’s 911 RSR, Project Grip and custom lighting.

03 From the Step and Repeat were 6 RECARO seats lined up along the hallway for people to sit in and experience the difference of RECARO.

04 This custom Step & Repeat featured the evenings sponsors and had a Sportster and Ultima flanking each side of the backdrop.

05 Project King Kong (owned by Mr. Kong) features a pair of unique RECARO sportsters custom wrapped in Alcantara with lime green stitching.

06 The back patio was the place to be with the fastest Porsches on site, a taco bar and many familiar places.

07 ALMS and Formula Drift drivers came to celebrate the kick off including Patrick Long and Jan Magnussen featured above.

08 The interior of the shop featured several current projects and a lounge that included the custom RECARO love seat.
