Driven Motorsport Sponsors Matt Field for 2017 Formula Drift Season

DRIVEN MOTORSPORT SPONSORS MATT FIELD FOR 2017 FORMULA DRIFT SEASON

DRIVEN MOTORSPORT is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Matt Field for the 2017 Formula Drift season. As part of the partnership, Matt will be supplied key components for his drift car to help ensure he stays safe and in control at all times.

The DRIVEN MOTORSPORT equipment supplied to Matt includes a pair of FIA-approved Halo race seats, FIA-approved cam-lock harness belts and a new 13.5” diameter Drift steering wheel. Matt will also wear a Nomex race suit, gloves and shoes from the DRIVEN MOTORSPORT collection.

Earning his Drift license in 2009, Matt quickly climbed the ranks, finishing third in the Formula Drift World Championships in 2015 and ninth in the US series. He finished fifth overall in the US series last year. “I’m delighted to be working with DRIVEN MOTORSPORT in 2017,” said an enthusiastic Matt Field. “I’ve always admired their products and I’m looking forward to getting to grips with everything this year.”

2017 marks a new chapter for DRIVEN MOTORSPORT as a member of the MOMO Automotive Group (MAG). With MAG’s global sales, marketing and distribution behind it, DRIVEN will be able to reach a new audience of racers. As a result, it will be identified by a redesigned logo and will be bringing new products to market, including the Drift steering wheel in Matt’s Nissan Silvia drift car.

Drift fans will be able to see and feel the new DRIVEN MOTORSPORT products in its booth at the opening round of the Formula Drift series in Long Beach, CA ( March 31 – April 1, 2017).
